Weather, Facility Issues & Cancellations

We play indoors at Conaty Athletic, so weather‑related closures are rare. However, events (games, practices, or programs) may be canceled if:

• There is a Severe Thunderstorm, Blizzard, Ice Storm, Tornado, Hurricane, or Excessive Heat Warning affecting travel/safety
• The host facility requires us to cancel or close for any reason they deem necessary

If games or practices are canceled for these reasons:

• They are unlikely to be rescheduled
• They are non‑refundable

We’d rather be upfront than over‑promise make‑ups we can’t guarantee.

Team & Coach Placement

We know families sometimes have preferences for teammates or coaches. However, to keep the league fair and balanced:

• Teams are formed using our Draft System
• We do not guarantee placement with a specific team, coach, or group of players—even if requested

Because of this:

Buddy requests are considered but never guaranteed.

How to Request a Refund

Refunds are not automatic and must be requested.

To start the process:

1. Email us at [email protected]
2. Include your child’s name, division, and reason for the request

Important:

• Refund requests must be received before the registration deadline
• Requests are reviewed weekly (Tuesdays)
• You’ll receive a decision by email

Refund Policy

No Refunds For:

We do not provide refunds or credits for:

• Requests made after the registration deadline
• Over‑scheduling conflicts (other sports, activities, or travel)
• Missed practices or games because the participant is unwilling or unable to attend
• Not being placed with a specific team, coach, or teammate
• Weather or facility closures as outlined above

Falsified Information

Teams are formed based on age, grade, and school information.

If any information provided at registration is found to be false or misleading:

• Your child may be removed from the program
• No refunds or credits will be issued
• We reserve the right to request proof of age, grade, or school and to act at our discretion if proof is not provided

Program Cancellation (By X2-Sports)

X2-Sports reserves the right to cancel any activity due to:

• Low enrollment
• Facility issues
• Other conditions beyond our control

In the event of a full program cancellation, we will communicate options at that time based on the specific situation.

Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)

If our ability to operate is delayed or disrupted by events outside our reasonable control—such as:

• Severe weather
• Natural disasters
• Epidemics or public health emergencies
• Government orders or restrictions

—we may delay, modify, or suspend program activities without this being treated as a “cancellation” that triggers refunds.

The timeline for our performance will be adjusted as needed, and we will communicate updates as clearly and quickly as possible.
